Baptist missionary Dr. Jim Dearmore was ambushed on Nov 28, 1978 in Rhodesia by ~50 terrorists in a double ambush. Shot multiple times, he survived miraculously, spent weeks in hospital + months in therapy, then returned to Texas.
He shared about his experiences in Africa with grace and forgiveness until he passed on June 10 2015.
